The Nats almost seemed pissed off about letting a win slip away the night before to a KC Royals three-run rally Tuesday night. They took it out on Wednesday start Kris Medlen, hanging six runs on him in the top of the first inning.
When the Kansas City Royals responded by plating two in the second, the Nats responded with four in the third, and single runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings.
I guess the Nats wanted to make sure the KC Royals were dead.
