It was a quiet night in the KC Royals farm system, as only Triple-A Omaha was in action.
The Storm Chasers scored seven runs in the bottom of the 2nd inning en route to their 14-2 victory over the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
The 2nd inning started with a Casey Kotchman single (one of his two singles in the inning). Dusty Coleman got the scoring started with a one out, two-run double (he would homer in the seventh). Cheslor Cuthbert capped the scoring with a three-run home run.
