Omaha won their series opener against Nashville, 7-3.
The Storm Chasers collected 15 hits, all but one were singles. The bottom four in the order each collected two hits. Gabriel Noriega returned from the DL and drove in a run, as did catcher Micah Gibbs. Reymond Fuentes went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two stolen bases.
Buddy Baumann earned the win in relief of Yohan Pino (3IP, 2H, R, BB, K, HR).
