Leading 2-1 heading into the top of the fifth, the Storm Chasers broke the game open with a five-run inning. Whit Merrifield led off the inning with a double and came around to score on Balbino Fuenmayor‘s single. With two outs, Jose Martinez doubled in two runs (one of his three hits) and scored on Moises Sierra‘s single.
Brett Eibner went 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, and two runs scored.
