All four of the KC Royals full season affiliates enjoyed the off day on Monday.
Burlington beat Kingsport, 5-3.
The Royals scored four runs in the top of the fifth, capped by a Ben Johnson two out, three-run home run (he also doubled). Brian Bien also had two hits in the win.
Ashe Russell got the start for the Royals and allowed a run on four hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out six. Andre Davis followed and allowed two runs on four hits (including a homer) and a walk over three innings.
