Could it be that the rift between the Kansas City Royals and their all-time great second baseman, Frank White, is finally over?
White, who literally helped build Kauffman Stadium before becoming a part of the franchise, is truly ingrained in Royals lore. The best defensive second baseman in American League history, White had his number retired by the franchise, served as a minor league manager and in the front office before his time in the broadcast booth. However, after being let go as a broadcaster, White had refused to come back to Kauffman Stadium, the feud even becoming a minor storyline during the Royals World Series run last year.
