Kansas City got back to winning last Sunday as they beat the Cincinnati Reds 10-3. The Royals have yet to see what Lucas Duda will bring to the team since signing him, so he could make his first appearance in this game. This could also be the last chance for some players to show Kansas City what they have before they are sent to minor league camp.
Nate Karns will get the start today as he looks to improve on the success he had last season. Last season he posted a 4.17 ERA prior to being shut down in May due to thoracic outlet syndrome surgery.
