The Kansas City Royals activated right fielder Jorge Soler from his rehab assignment with AAA Omaha today, where he hit .308/.400/.538 with three home runs in 11 games. Soler had been on the 10-day disabled list due to an oblique strain suffered at the end of Spring training. He takes the roster space of Miguel Almonte, who is being optioned back to AA Northwest Arkansas after only being on the Kansas City 25-man roster for about 24 hours.
