It’s late: Royals win 6-2

I work really early tomorrow, so this is going to be a super quick recap.

The Royals beat the Blue Jays, 6-2. They salvaged a split in the four-game series. They took a big step forward in their quest to not lose more home games than any other team in the history of baseball.

Lucas Duda hit his 11th homer in the second inning to tie the game at 1-1. Then the Royals fell behind by a run.

In the fourth, Kansas City scored three runs. Jorge Bonifacio tripled, Ryan O’Hearn singled, and Hunter Dozier doubled.
