Indians walk off on Gomes' homer

The Indians snapped out of the longest scoreless drought under manager Terry Francona and then pulled off a dramatic walk-off win against the Royals on Sunday afternoon.

In the ninth inning, Yan Gomes belted a two-run home run off Brandon Maurer, propelling the Indians to a 3-1 win for the team's first walk-off of 2018. With the victory, Cleveland took two out of three against Kansas City in the series, in which the Indians outscored the Royals, 6-4, in unusually cold conditions at Progressive Field.
