When last we met here the Royals were high off winning on opening day. We parted with the team on a nascent winning streak and hopes high even as the bullpen looked very, very bad. Thing have devolved since then.
The team has now lost four in a row despite an above average offense and a reasonable facsimile of a starting rotation. The bullpen has been horrible but today is a new day and the season has only just started. The Royals are only a pair of games below .500 and two games back in the division race.
