In a re-hash of the American Revolution, the Yankees are doing battle with royalty tonight at Kauffman Stadium in the second game of this four-game set. Kansas City will look to bounce back after dropping the series opener last night.
Brady Singer will start for Kansas City. Singer didn’t have his best command in his last outing and allowed a season-high-tying nine hits, though just two went for extra bases. He was pulled in the fourth inning at just 70 pitches. Singer last pitched against the Yankees on July 22 last year, allowing two runs across six innings.
