More Long Balls!
Well, this isn’t something were accustomed to seeing. The Kansas City Royals and the long ball haven’t been the greatest acquaintances in the franchise’s history. But lately, that has changed. After barraging home runs in Target Field and Yankee Stadium, there was some carry over at Progressive Field.
The biggest one was in a key moment. After looking lost the first couple of innings against Mike Clevinger, the KC Royals had two runners on with two outs, trailing 4-0.
Brandon Moss then took a mistake pitch to the bleachers to pull the KC Royals within one run.
