One of the big storylines of the weekend was the Yankees using their “torpedo bats” and absolutely sinking the u-boats of the Brewers in the Bronx, scoring a hilarious 36 runs in three games against Milwaukee. As we know, the Yankees stadium is a tiny little joke of a park, so you have to grade that on a curve. But I imagine the Brewers are excited not to play them anymore, as it is their home opener today.
However, I always get a little antsy when a team like the Royals play away for some other team’s home opener, and I’m antsy here because the Brewers are probably very frustrated and seem poised to take it out on somebody.
