The Royals learned the value of another World Series perk Monday when Major League Baseball announced the breakdown of the 2015 postseason players’ pool.
Each full share for the Royals was worth $370,069.03. Who gets a full or partial share is decided on by the players.
The players’ pool this year totaled a record $69,882,149.26, topping the previous best of $65,363,469.22 in 2012. Money in pool is also distributed to the other playoff teams.
Each full share for the NL champion New York Mets was worth $300,757.78.
