The Pioneer League All-Stars were announced on Tuesday, and four Royals farmhands will represent the Idaho Falls Chukars on Aug. 7 at Suplizio Field in Grand Junction, Colo: LHPs J.C. Cloney and Robert Garcia, and INFs Nathan Eaton and Reed Rohlman.
Cloney, who turns 24 on Friday, has won all eight of his starts with a 2.16 ERA (12 ER in 50.0 IP). He leads the Pioneer League in wins, ERA and innings, and ranks third in strikeouts (45) and WHIP (1.06) and fourth in opponents’ average (.237). He was the Royals’ ninth-round selection in the 2017 Draft out of the University of Arizona.
