The trade deadline is just over two weeks away, and with the Royals in complete freefall, they are likely to be sellers at the deadline. They don’t have too many attractive players others teams would want that the Royals would actually be willing to part with, but one name that could garner interest is left-handed pitcher Danny Duffy.
Duffy has stated his desire to stay with the Royals, and now that he has ten years of service time, he can veto any trade. But according to New York Post reporter Joel Sherman, executives expect the 32-year old lefty to be traded this month.
