The Royals made a series of roster moves Tuesday, highlighted by the return of outfielder Jarrod Dyson from the disabled list.
The Royals also placed right-hander Dillon Gee on paternity leave.
Outfielder Reymond Fuentes was optioned to Triple-A Omaha to make room for Dyson, while righty Miguel Almonte was recalled from Triple-A to replace Gee.
Dyson, who was recovering from a right oblique strain, will be available for Tuesday night's game against Detroit.
