Cole Ragans shoved while Paul DeJong and the offense did just enough despite going 2-11 with RISP to give the Kansas City Royals a 4-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins.
The Royals threatened early when Adam Frazier singled to lead off the game and Vinnie Pasquantino walked (Kansas City’s first walk of the series) to give them a couple runners on with one out. Salvador Perez struck out and Hunter Renfroe flew out to end the inning. However, they would threaten again in the second when DeJong doubled down the left field line and Freddy Fermin singled the other way to put runners on the corners with one out.
