Royals manager Ned Yost on Saturday announced that Danny Duffy will be his opening day starter.
Ian Kennedy, Jason Hammel, Jason Vargas and Nathan Karns will follow in the Royals starting pitching rotation.
The Royals open the season April 3 at Minnesota.
