The Royals will face the Diamondbacks again on Saturday
SURPRISE, ARIZ.
Chris Young was a victim of the long ball on Friday, surrendering back-to-back homers in his second start of the spring. Young allowed four earned runs in two innings in a 12-3 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks at Surprise Stadium.
The first homer — a two-run shot by Arizona’s Nick Ahmed — was of the Arizona variety, a high fly ball that carried over the left-field wall.
