KANSAS CITY -- Catcher Drew Butera is far from the fastest member of the Royals, but that didn't matter on Sunday afternoon.
Butera raced home for a go-ahead three-run inside-the-park homer in the seventh inning against the Twins as the ball rolled farther and farther into the spacious Kauffman Stadium outfield.
With Alex Gordon and Alcides Escobar on base, Butera's knock initially looked like it was just going to be an RBI single. But when Twins center fielder Jake Cave came up short on a diving attempt, the play was shifted into high gear.
