Triple-A Omaha outfielder Bubba Starling was named to the Pacific Coast League roster for the 2019 Triple-A All-Star Game, announced by the league today. He’s the lone Storm Chasers representative on the PCL roster.
Starling has been a dynamo in the field and at the plate for the Storm Chasers this season, batting .314/.361/.441 (69-for-220) in 61 games, with nine doubles, two triples, five homers and 28 RBI. His batting average is tops among players currently on the team, and currently stands as his best mark in a season in his career. From June 2–13, he hit safely in a season-high 10 straight games, including a string of four consecutive multi-hit efforts to start the streak.
