Center fielder Khalil Lee filled the box score with two hits, two runs, two RBI and a stolen base. His RBI single in the 10th broke an 8–8 tie. In two games, Lee has reached safely six times (.636 OBP), has scored three times and has two stolen bases.
Meibrys Viloria made his second start and first at catcher, reaching three times, including two walks and a two-run double in the eighth inning.
Nick Heath, who stole three bases on Wednesday, pinch ran in Surprise’s four-run eighth inning and scored the game-tying run on a bases-loaded walk.
