With the Royals in the thick of the postseason chase to ‘Take the Crown’ some of the club’s best prospects are honing their skills in the Arizona Fall League and preparing to make a run at ‘The Show’ next season.
Below are some images from Saturday’s Bowman Hitting Challenge, in which players get points for hitting targets on the field, as well as home runs. Utility infielder Ramon Torres, who finished the season with Double-A Northwest Arkansas, battled through a driving rain to drive enough balls for second place among the American League players.
