Arizona Fall League Recap: Ryan O’Hearn

Royals’ 1B prospect Ryan O’Hearn hit .291 (25-for-86) with a .384 on-base percentage in the Arizona Fall League while ranking fifth among league leaders in at-bats. He was also one of just four players to appear in at least 23 games.

His performance in the AFL earned him All-Star honors on Nov. 5. As the AFL West’s starting DH, O’Hearn went 1-for-1 with two walks and three runs scored in the West’s 12–4 win.

O’Hearn posted a 10-game hitting streak from Oct. 15–31, tied for the second-longest streak in the AFL.
