Latest News/Rumors
The Royals look like they are headed for a rebuilding season, so SP Danny Duffy could be on the move this winter even after inking a five-year, $65 million contract extension only 11 months ago. According to FanRag Sports’ Jon Heyman, many teams have show interest in Duffy:
Royals are getting many, many hits on Danny Duffy. Also merrifield, Herrera and others.

Free Agency
The Royals have inquired about free agent first baseman Matt Adams, according to ESPN.com reporter Jerry Crasnick.
The #Indians and #Royals have both inquired on 1B Matt Adams. In Cleveland's case, he could be a fallback if Tribe can't bring back Carlos Santana. #Nationals have also inquired on Adams, but as more of a bench bat. Adam Lind, who hit .303 with 14 HRs this year, is a free agent.

Last season, Adams hit .274 with 20 home runs, 65 RBIs in 131 games. With the pursuit of left-handed first baseman, it appears like Eric Hosmer may not be a Royal in 2017.
