Despite rumors to the contract, the Kansas City Royals appear unwilling to part with Greg Holland, or any member of their fearsome bullpen trio for that matter.
According to Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star, the Royals are looking to remain intact in the back of their bullpen going forward into 2015:
Heard from multiple rival execs last night the Royals were telling teams that Holland/Davis/Herrera weren't available.

It's possible that GM Dayton Moore is taking this stance to drive Holland's price up, but it's also likely that's he's willing to take his chances in arbitration with Holland in order to retain arguably the best closer in baseball over the past two years. Holland could be looking at a raise to $9 or $10 million based on his efforts.
Combining the 2013 and 2014 seasons, Holland has posted a 1.32 ERA, 0.889 WHIP, 93 saves, and 13.4 K/9 in 129.1 innings pitched.
