Kansas City Chiefs Rumors have been humming recently as the 2020 NFL Season is just around the corner. Training camp is almost here and Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are ready to defend their Super Bowl crown. Chiefs Report host Harrison Graham breaks down the Chiefs Top 10 most important players for the 2020 Season on today’s show.
Patrick Mahomes has emerged as the best player in the NFL and by far the most important. He’s clearly the Chiefs most important player as Kansas City looks to go on another Super Bowl run. Mahomes has erased a decades-long stigma of the Chiefs falling short in big games. Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce are big-time weapons for Mahomes and are very important to the Chiefs’ success as well.
Chris Jones claims he is willing to sit out the upcoming NFL season if the Chiefs don’t give him a long-term contract. Jones reportedly wants $20 million per year on a new deal and Kansas City hasn’t reached that number. Harrison believes the Chiefs can’t afford to not have Chris Jones for the upcoming season.
The Chiefs will be relying on some young players this season like Rashad Fenton who’s expected to start at nickel in place of Kendall Fuller. Is Fenton ready for a full-time role? Willie Gay Jr. could also emerge as a very important player at linebacker for Kansas City.
