Schwab acknowledged the possibility that Mahomes could be one of the NFL’s best in 2018, but for him, that acknowledgment is tempered with uncertainty.
Due to his supporting cast and his amazing talent, Mahomes could be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL this season. Or he could have typical first-year struggles and then everyone will second-guess Kansas City’s decision to trade Smith.
