KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Dontari Poe had an outsized presence on the Kansas City Chiefs' defense since joining the team as a first-round pick in the 2012 draft. It wasn't just his size that made it seem that way.
Poe was almost always in their lineup, unusual for a defensive lineman and particularly so for one who weighs 346 pounds. He missed just two games over his five seasons in Kansas City because of injuries. But when he was available, he was in the game -- sometimes when the Chiefs had the ball.
