The Kansas City Chiefs appear set to venture into training camp with two names that draftniks will recognize, along with Green Bay Packers fans. Offensive tackle Derek Sherrod, 6-foot-5 and 321 pounds out of Mississippi State and defensive tackle Jerel Worthy, 6-foot-2 and 308 pounds out of Michigan State, are trying to revive their careers after falling short with their original organization, the Packers.
Both are recent and high draft picks. Sherrod was taken with the last pick in the 2011 first round, and Worthy coming off the board to the Packers in the second round of the 2012 draft.
