The Kansas City Chiefs, in a surprising move in early 2013, claimed seven players from other teams around the league including unknown, Marcus Cooper.
Cooper, who was a seventh-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers, had signed a four-year contract with the team, before he was a victim in the final roster cuts for the team.
A former wide receiver, Cooper set records in receiving yards, touchdowns, receptions and consecutive games with a touchdown at his high school in Bloomfield, Connecticut. He also played wide receiver in college with the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, but his limited playing time saw him switch to cornerback in his senior year.
