What we saw from Patrick Mahomes against the Chicago Bears

Patrick Mahomes grabbed the league’s (and country’s) attention last week after his 69-yard touchdown pass to Tyreek Hill.

Whether or not he’d be able to make plays like that the standard was a question on people’s minds heading into the Chiefs’ game against the Chicago Bears Saturday.

So, how’d Mahomes do in Week 3?

Let’s recap.

Mahomes and the offense entered the game down 7-0 following a strong opening drive from the Chicago Bears, who were able to capitalize on a weak, unorganized Chiefs defense early.

In his first play (11:16, Q1), Mahomes threw a short pass to Sammy Watkins for 15 yards, marking Watkins’ long overdue first catch of the preseason.
