The Washington Football Team has announced they have signed former Kansas City Chiefs (and New Orleans Saints) tight end Deon Yelder. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was first with the news on Wednesday evening.
Yelder, 26, spent three seasons with the Chiefs after beginning his NFL career with the Saints in 2018 as an undrafted free agent out of Western Kentucky. He ends his Chiefs career after playing in 26 games — most of them last season — and starting two, collecting 10 total receptions for 86 yards.
