Former Kansas City Chiefs general manager John Dorsey announced his intention on Sunday to let wide receiver Josh Gordon leave the team he currently runs, the Cleveland Browns. Whether it’s by release or trade, Gordon was expected to be gone from the Browns roster sometime on Monday.
Soon after the smart move to announce the intention to release him, several teams were reportedly lining up to potentially trade for Gordon, depending on the price of course. Creating a bidding war was a smart move by Dorsey if he was indeed planning on moving on from Gordon.
