Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill has returned to practice during training camp at Missouri Western University in St. Joseph.
Chiefs fans held their breath on Tuesday when Hill went down with what at first looked like a serious injury after a collision with cornerback Bashaud Breeland. Hill walked off the field limping and then spent time in the injury tent as trainers worked on his right leg.
Eventually, Hill returned to the locker room riding a cart, which raised fears he had suffered a serious injury. But ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported soon after that Hill merely had a bruised quad muscle — later confirmed by the Chiefs.
