Tyler Bray released by Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears had to make room for returning offensive lineman Kyle Long from injured reserve on Saturday as they prepare for not only Week 17 but a hopeful playoff run. Unfortunately, that also means someone had to go from the active roster, and Adam Schefter is reporting that player is former Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Tyler Bray.

The Bears are quite excited to add Long back to the offensive front heading into their game against the Minnesota Vikings to close the season. Long is certainly a nice upgrade for Matt Nagy’s offense, especially as Mitch Trubisky continues to grow into the franchise face he was drafted to be.
