In the name of journalism, I did a little Sunday Night Football research for this column. And by research, I mean I went down a YouTube rabbit hole of Sunday Night Football theme songs. I heard that NBC had a new intro song this year, but I haven’t been in front of the TV in time to hear it. So I fired up YouTube and started listening and watching. Before I got to the 2018 song, I watched every single intro from 2006-17.
Every. Single. One.
Yes, the songs are super cheesy. But they’re also super catchy.
