The Kansas City Chiefs don’t seem to be worried about the word “injury” being linked to star tight end Travis Kelce at all. General manager John Dorsey, speaking from the NFL’s annual meetings in Phoenix, said on Thursday that he expects Kelce to be back and ready for training camp at full strength.
“I know from a rehabilitation standpoint, he’s ahead,” Dorsey said. “I can’t say what level he’ll be at, but he’ll be 100 percent for training camp. For OTAs, he may be able to walk through and do some things.”
Kelce had offseason shoulder surgery, but Andy Reid spoke at the NFL Combine and told reporters the timeline wouldn’t be a problem.
