Training camp notebook: Andy Reid talks Tuesday’s mixing and matching

The Kansas City Chiefs’ third full practice of their 2024 training camp on Tuesday featured a few players being tested at different positions — all part of the weeks-long process that head coach Andy Reid goes through each preseason.

Through the first two days of camp, reserve lineman Mike Caliendo was the starting left guard in place of Joe Thuney, who continues to work back from injury. On Tuesday, fourth-year lineman Lucas Niang took his place. Reid talked through the shift after practice.
