Tony Gonzalez named finalist for 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame

As expected by just about everybody, former Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez has been named a finalist for the 2019 class of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Gonzalez, who played for the Chiefs from 1997 through 2008, and then spent five years with the Atlanta Falcons until his retirement after the 2013 season, is the NFL’s all-time leader in receiving yards among tight ends with 15,127 yards over his 17-year career.
