The Kansas City Chiefs had a tremendous weekend for the franchise with the news that Patrick Mahomes had won the NFL’s Most Valuable Player award and that two longtime franchise legends were both named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame‘s class of 2019.
This summer, the hallowed halls found in Canton, Ohio will welcome both legendary safety Johnny Robinson and the best tight end to ever play the game in Tony Gonzalez as Hall of Famers. Both men will be inducted along with six others voted in on Saturday—safety Ed Reed, cornerback Champ Bailey, center Kevin Mawae, Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, Cowboys executive Gil Brandt, and cornerback Ty Law who also played a couple seasons for the Chiefs.
