Derrick Johnson sat out nearly all of 2014 after tearing his achilles tendon in the home opener against the Tennessee Titans.
This year, the Kansas City Chiefs will welcome him back with open arms.
Johnson is the heart of the Chiefs defense, leading the team in tackles four years in a row from 2010 to 2013.
Johnson went to the Pro Bowl in each of the 3 seasons before getting injured. He is just 14 tackles short of the Kansas City Chiefs’ all-time record, behind Chiefs great Gary Spani.
