The Kansas Citiy Chiefs offense has re-established its baseline

With Matt Nagy at the helm of the offense, the Kansas City Chiefs seem to have re-established their offensive identity and their offensive floor.

This started with my conversation with Kent Swanson. (Go listen to that right now if you want to feel smarter and dominate your tailgate conversations.) Kent helped explain how Matt Nagy revitalized the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense by using the run-pass option so proficiently since taking over as the Chiefs’ play-caller. This is exactly what the Chiefs needed. Not because it brings unseen explosiveness (it doesn’t), but because it stopped the Chiefs’ offensive slide.
