The Kansas City Chiefs public relations department has released the team’s first depth chart for the 2019 NFL season:

Things that stand out:

  • Deon Yelder is listed as the team’s No. 2 tight end over Blake Bell. That makes sense based upon Chiefs head coach Andy Reid’s comments prior to training camp, but from what we have seen and heard, Bell probably has a slight edge at this point.
  • John Lovett is listed as both the sixth tight end and second fullback, though I don’t this necessarily spells trouble for the TE2 candidates or Anthony Sherman.
