With the NFL Draft behind us, the Kansas City Chiefs’ three-day rookie minicamp gave us the first look at the team’s newest members.
For the second straight year, third-string quarterback Chris Oladokun was on hand to run the offense and help the rookies and tryout players get settled in. It’s something he takes seriously.
“I feel like it just gives me an opportunity to get better,” he said after Monday’s final minicamp session. “Especially in my role as a third guy, the reps are slim.”
To Oladokun, it doesn’t matter that some players he saw will never make an NFL team.
