On Friday, the Kansas City Chiefs made two previously-known roster moves official by making the corresponding roster moves — and made two more moves for good measure.
Earlier this week, it was reported that the team was signing veteran Samaje Perine to its 53-man roster. According to the NFL transactions report, the team made room for the running back by waiving Eric Scott, whom the team claimed on waivers from the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday.
The team may have changed its mind about the former Dallas defensive back. But it could also be that Kansas City wanted him for its practice squad.
