In any championship season, a lot of things have to go your way. You could look back at even the most dominant juggernauts in league history and comb through a handful of games and say, “yeah, but if that one play hadn’t have happened,” and the entire landscape of history would look completely different. Obviously, there are numerous plays from the 2019 postseason we could rewind at and acknowledge that our Chiefs would never have won the Super Bowl if that had not happened. And this is not to discredit them.
However, a lot of things had to happen in order to get there.
