In a matter of just a few weeks, veteran defensive tackle Terrell McClain has crossed off one half the AFC West from his list of employers.
The Kansas City Chiefs released McClain a week ago after they decided instead to import defensive lineman Mike Pennell instead. McClain played in only two games for the Chiefs as they dealt with numerous injuries, but the Chiefs apparently weren’t enamored with his performance and moved on to another experienced option.
Fortunately for McClain, his time as a newly released free agent didn’t last long. The Oakland Raiders announced the signing of a few veterans, including McClain to bolster their defensive front.
